Best Subject(s): Christina does NOT do well in anything school related.
Worst Subject(s): Everything.
General: Christina is hard to be friends with. She seems distant at times, she doesn't talk much nor does she often have any intentions of making friends. She generally prefers solitude, and has a tendency to always be moody and lash out no matter how kind people are to her. Christina however, is nice, once you get on her good side.
What's Hiding In Your Past
Family: Juliette Smith-Moore (mother, 42), Herb Moore (father, 46), Candice Moore-Benoit (sister, 20), Eric Moore (brother, 12), Yvonne Smith (Grandmother, 64).
Pets?: A German Shepard (Bo, 5)
General History: Christina always had an odd family. Her grandmother is an alcoholic, has been ever since her mother can remember. Her grandfather was hit by a bus and killed before Christina was even born, that was when her mother had suggested their family take in her mother. Juliette finally got Herb to cave in once Christina was four, and she's been there ever since.
Christina knew she was different, she was sad most of the time, her parents always got into fights. Her grandmother was usually there for her, but she most likely would have a hang-over or be extremely drunk. She took comfort in poetry around the age of ten, expressing deep thoughts and emotions through her works. Of course, with her older sister being "goddess-material" and her little brother being the "talented sports guy", Christina's talents were ignored. So she resorted to more desperate measures to get the attention of her constantly bickering parents. She started causing trouble at school, wearing more black, letting her grades slip.
After all her efforts, her parents still didn't pay Christina a second glance. They'd pick her up after detentions on a routine basis, ground her, then the cycle would start again. Christina sank into a deep depression at the mere age of 13, and began to cut herself. Only two short years later, Christina attempted suicide. It was only then she was paid any attention to. After a trip to the emergency room, which wound up saving Christina's life, her mother kept a closer eye on her. To this day, Christina doesn't talk much about the experience.
And That's a Wrap
Anything else?: Not that I can think of!
RP Example: Saiya sat on her bed, staring dully at the ceiling. Just a sliver of sunlight danced on the floor of her cluttered room, barely squeezing through the tightly drawn blinds. Her music was turned up quite loudly, it was the vinyl Fall Out Boy record she'd been favoring lately. The record gave a slight pop, and continued on with the song. Her brother poked his head in the door. "Could that be any louder? It's not like I need quiet to do my homework." said Eric, voice dripping in sarcasm.
"I'm sorry if I disturbed you maintaining your C minus average." Saiya said coldly, using equal sarcasm.
"Just turn it down, 'Miss D plus'." snapped Eric, leaving and slamming the door behind him
Saiya remained on her bed, not really feeling like getting up, crossing the room and turning down the volume. It's not like there was any risk involved, she was grounded again for the second detention in a week. And so she sat, scowling.
