Outfit
Whisper stood in the lunch line, on today's menu was "Mystery Meat", then the option of "PB&J" for vegetarians such as herself. She got the stale-looking sandwich, paid for it, then found an empty table in the corner. Whisper didn't have friends around this place, so she normally ate alone. She picked up the sandwich and took a bite of it. She was correct, it was stale.
Whisper sighed, but knew she had to eat something, otherwise she'd be starving later in the day. Then something shocked Whisper out of her mind. A person approached the table in the corner in which she sat. This wasn't happening, normally people just walked past, of course after gaping at Whisper's slightly abnormal appearance. Her mouth opened slightly in shock as the person stopped in front of her, this wasn't happening...

Clothes Shoes
Saiya stopped before a table, paper bag in hand. The bag contained her lunch, or at least the pathetic excuse for her lunch anyways... Nonetheless, it was food and was probably a lot better than the menu choice ("Mystery Meat", Saiya didn't even want to know what it was). The girl sitting there looked familiar, she was in several of her classes. Saiya could spot that bubblegum-pink plait amonst the majority of blondes in the cafeteria.
She had recalled this girl normally sat alone, as Saiya normally did herself anyways. Her black bangs fell into her blue-gray eyes as she opened her mouth to speak.
"Can I sit here?" asked Saiya, thick British accent prominent as ever.

Whisper still sat there in total shock as to how this was happening. There was no way it was, this was completely impossible... Nobody was ever nice to Whisper, seeing as there were two of her hippie siblings in the place, people heard the last name "Jones" and fled. She then realized how stupid she must look, then smiled at the girl, who she recognized from some of her classes, but didn't know her name. She had a British accent, Whisper loved that kind of thing.
"Go right ahead!" Whisper said happily.

Ben was skipping Science. He despised science. He really couldn't care less about mitosis and life cycles and phoyosynthesis. He had asked the teacher to go to the clinic, acting like he was about to throw up. His teacher was deathly afraid of sick kids. He knew she wouldn't care if he came back all period.
As he wandered through the halls, he thought of Saiya, and he wanted to see her. He made his way to the cafeteria, scanning the room for her. After a few moments, he spotted her talking to a girl with pink hair. Ben smiled, he loved how Saiya was so nice to people. He made his way over to her and the other girl, smiling. "Hey, Saiya," he said, grabbing a seat next to her. He smiled at the other girl. "Hi. I'm Ben."

Saiya quickly sat, it wasn't the best thing to sit alone around this place, that made you a target for the "jockettes" and populars. The girl had seemed nice enough, so it was fine that she sat with her, and she seemed close enough to "her clique", to the point where her reputation wouldn't be completely trashed. Then in came a new person, someone who most definately wasn't a Junior. Saiya knew him all too well, and smirked as he sat down. This boy was her boyfriend, Ben. He greeted her, and in turn was kind to the pink-haired girl. "Now you're skipping," Saiya whispered in his ear, then fell silent.

Whisper was astonished at her luck, now there were two people sitting with her. She didn't recognize the boy that came to sit with she and the other girl, but the girl seemed to know him. She grinned even more widely. The boy introduced himself as "Ben", Whisper herself rather liked the name, probably because she hated all the hippie names she and her siblings were given by Anne and Derek (their parents). Whisper had tried to adopt a different name, but Anne and Derek refused and since she was a minor, she couldn't change it without parental permission. This of course gave Oak the authority to mock her for several months on end.
"Hello! My name is Whisper!" said she happily.

Saiya opened her paper bag and sighed at her pathetic excuse for a lunch. Of course, it was probably better than the "Mystery Meat", or the stale-looking sandwich upon the pink-haired girl's try. She pulled out the chocolate snak-pak, a plastic spork, a ziploc bag with two-week-old cheetoes inside and a blueberry muffin preserved in surran wrap. Well, it was better than nothing, she supposed. slowly she peeled the plastic wrap off her muffin, then figured she might as well introduce herself as well. "My name is Saiya Moore." said Saiya.

Whisper smiled, she still was astounded at her luck, this was the first time in all of her school years she hadn't eaten alone. Most people classified her as being "weird", so she might as well have been classified as a loner as well. She took a bite out of her sandwich, trying not gag. The wheat bread was stale, the peanut butter was dry and the jam was sticky and gelatinous. Not at all her idea of something that should be consumed, but she didn't complain, Whisper was hungry.
"Good to meet you Ben, and Saiya!" Whisper chimed happily. She thought Saiya was a rather unusual name, but she couldn't be one to speak of unusual names herself, she was named after a tone of voice and her twin brother was named after a kind of tree...

Ben smiled at Saiya and whispered back to her, "I know." He noticed how happy Whisper seemed to be that people were talking with her, but he couldn't begin to guess why. She seemed to be really nice. "It's great to meet you, Whisper," he said. He would have thought it would be awkward for her to sit with two people who obviously knew each other, one of them a year older than her, but she seemed as pleased as a cat resting in the sun. "That, uh... looks delicious" he joked about her nasty sandwich, sarcasm laced thick in his voice.

Whisper smiled widely at Ben and Saiya. She couldn't have been any happier. She could tell that the two knew each other. Are they going out or something? Perhaps they're just friends... thought Whisper. She didn't really like gossip, and it's not like anybody was going to tell Whisper what was going on in the first place... Sometimes she hated the fact her parents were the "hippie" type, and her brother sertainly wasn't helping her image. "Yeah, it's just wonderful." said Whisper, tone dripping with sarcasm.
